Talk to people, not planes

JetStream vs ACARS

ACARS is deeply ingrained in aviation – perhaps not surprising since it has been around since the 1970s. However, the name gives away one major weakness: Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System.

Unlike ACARS, JetStream shines in the pre-flight phase where communications, including photos and documents, should be directed to the people who can help dispatch the flight safely and on time rather than the airplane flight deck printer.

JetStream vs VHF

Every aircraft has a radio, so VHF is a great way to get in touch when you have line-of-sight to your home base…but the majority of issues arise away from base.

VHF radios require expensive equipment and frequency licensing, and they only allow one person to talk at a time. This prohibits remote-work for support staff, and also prevents team members outside of the cockpit from communicating. Also, anyone with an inexpensive handheld receiver can listen in, so you cannot use VHF for passing any sensitive/customer data.

JetStream vs Email

Give your vital flight communication a dedicated space to thrive. No more inbox clutter, JetStream keeps all communication for each flight in one place, complete with flight updates and rich media.

Because data is consolidated in JetStream, communication data can be analysed to identify efficiency bottlenecks – something that is simply not possible with fragmented email.

With JetStream, help is only ever a click or a tap away. Get the help that is needed to dispatch the flight on time with zero friction.
